Data Folder
Data Folder screen gives access to a set of recorded files in past measurements.
Inside the Data Folder you can find the following Icons:
Trash bin
for deleting the selected filesAdditional folder
for creating new folders in order to organize your measurements. It is recommended to organize your different records in folders.3 vertical points
they should be used to organize and move the different files within the different folder created to organize your measurements. If you want to move a file from one folder to another, first select the file checking the square at the left side of the name of the file. Then press the 3 point button at the right corner of the screen, and finaly, press over the name of the new folder which will host the moved file.
If it is wanted to change the name of the different measurement files, that should be done from the file manager of your mobile phone. There, DynApp has created the a folder to store your measurements and you can manage them as usual.
There are three types of files
yyyy_mm_dd_HH_MM_SS.csv
A csv file with the raw recorded data.
It is important to notice that the sampling frequency of the Mems accelerometer of your mobile phone does not keep the sampling frequency of the measurement exactly constant.
Indeed the smapling freqeuncy of the raw data varies a bit whithin a certain limits. This variation of the sampling frequency can lead to small errors when performing the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) whith the Fast Fourier Transform algorithm (FFT).
This files are usefull when it is required to perform a detailed analysis of the recorded data. For example, when a customized resampling and filtering of the recorded data are required, it is recommended to access to the raw data of the measurements.
yyyy_mm_dd_HH_MM_SS-constant_serie.csv
A csv File with a resampled set of data.
This file is inmeadiately created by DynApp when the user requires to perform the FFT. DynApp needs to resample the raw data in order to perform a high quality FFT, whit the minimum error in the natural freqeuncy of the studied structure.
This file is recommended for a shallow analysis of the recorded data.
yyyy_mm_dd_HH_MM_SS-FFT.csv
A csv File with the FFT as a function of the frequency
